The Washington version (as opposed to the PA one). Went for a drive to the North Cascades last week. The access to the Washington Pass viewpoint was still closed. I could have parked my car and possibly hiked up there but the sunrise was developing and no time to waste. The drone to the rescue. Got quite close to the peak to get a look of a long lens image.

I am surprised you got this far up this early in the year. Don't they usually wait until July to try to dig out the road up near there? Nice cloud colors.

The access to this area from Hwy 20 is blocked in winter. However one can get to it via 97. However Hwy 20 was open and that is why I headed out.
