Not sure this is a real challenge as it starts as a good image, but it is different so maybe the challenge is to take us out of our comfort zone and see what we can do with it.

The embedded image is a small jpg’s of the raw, but use the DNG file for rework.

Ok, here is my version to kick it off. I decided the story here was with the switch, so I cropped tight.

Similar thought process on the crop. Did some cleanup to get rid of distractions, went with a (almost) two tone look and added some vignette to top it off.

Like that grungy look. I also thought of converting to B&W but found that there wasn't enough seperation between the switch as the main subject and the background. If I had to reshoot this, I'd use a wide open aperture.

Ok, here's my own take on it. As meantioned, I should have used a wide open aperture. As I was stupid enough to use f/16, the only way I can manage to somewhat isolate the main subject is by selective sharpening, some dodging and a vignette. I also cropped off the useless and distracting sky.

Thanks for adding your version Carlo and good job with it. I think it would have been hard to keep enough critical stuff in focus while blurring the rest.
