Very dim object! Making me shoot 10 hours of (8) min long subs, which took 3 nights to accumulate enough time
(- clouds lol)

80 - 8 min subs I think is a record for me. I Iost at least 30 subs due to clouds

Tough little target to capture, and tougher to process

Time to move on!
Thanks for looking

That's so cool Ed! I have not heard of that one before. I need to look it up.

What camera and scope are you using for this? I forget.

I used the SV SVX 102 triplet with its reducer making it around f5.8, not vary fast but without the reducer puts it at f7
plus the L-Ultimate filter and my ASI2600mc pro.
Guiding for all 3 nights were exceptional averaging .5 arc sec's EQ6R Pro mount and processed in Pixinsight.

How are you liking the L-Ultimate? I am thinking that might make a great Christmas gift.

Its actully a loaner a friend of mine let barrow so i could conpair to the Antilia 5nm I own and I can't really tell the difference. They both handle really bright stars really well, but I think overall I like the L-extreme the best with most dso's.

Nice job on this very faint object. I have not tried for it yet, but I do appreciate how difficult it can be. Looks like all that patience required for collecting and processing paid off!
