Last Bloom

The last blooms in our garden every year are the Monk's Hood. They are still showing off their colors while everything around them is screaming Fall color time instead. I suspect the rains will do them under in the not so distant future.

Very nice colors. For some reason I really like flowers that are that shade of blue.

Thanks Jim - I do like the late season blooms but I might try to remove these plats before next summer. Their levels of toxicity detract from their end of season beauty.

These plants do put on an amazing color show while everything else is scaling back for fall.
