Laguna Beach Street Photography in Motion

This would be considered Street Photography had I taken a photo, instead this is a video timelapse. Which, is really just a bunch of photos, so maybe it is Street Photography after all.

I went down to Laguna Beach twice last week. During the week there wasn't enough people, so I went back down Saturday before sunset and sure enough the people were out! My goal had been to want to capture the people walking across the crosswalk, but also I wanted to capture the vehicles wizzing by. I think I got both. It actually looked great in color, but I think B&W gave it a bit more of that Street Photography feel.

Captured with the iPhone 11 and the DJI OM 5 gimbal set to Hyperlapse (so I could handhold it).

Fairly busy area. The video felt like the hyper lapse stuff on our drones. I have never used it but have seen videos where it was in use mostly for recording car traffic. You did it on foot.

Yeah, hyperlapse would be a good way to describe it I think. It was pretty fun to do since it was different, and it felt to me like it was turning out pretty good.
