I am so happy that I have got the whole wide-field thing down now, since there's a lot of cool areas to shoot with a modest lens. The other day I installed Magic Lantern on my Canon 600D, giving it focus peaking, a bulb timer and intervalometer, all very handy to have. I did not realise that it also changed my shooting mode from RAW+JPEG to just JPEG though, so on Monday I wasted several hours of good shooting conditions. But the weather gods took pity on me and bestowed me with an even better night on Tuesday, resulting in this image here. I used my Polaris again, together with a 135mm Rokinon lens. I managed around 240 45-second frames at ISO1600 and f/3.2.
