Neat set - I have shot looking into that area from the north along UT 14 on several occasions but have never seen it from the inside. Very nice to see into that in these images. No favorites picking from me - I see many thing to like in each of these and all them are begging me to visit wherever these were taken from.

Nice work, Bart. Really like the last one. I have no idea how you found that place or if one can climb up top. What a great place to camp.

Thanks Ben, Al, Jeff. I just love it up there. The first two are above the trailhead to that leads to the bottom-up/Subway route on the Left Fork. The third is accessible from the Subway "top down" trailhead (near Wildcat Canyon), on the trail that meanders east and ends essentially at Angel's Landing from the top. It's a great point-to-point hike, so you have to arrange to get dropped off (or have a car at each end).

I've done that hike a couple of times, maybe 10-12 miles of joy, with plenty of time to get to Angel's Landing before sunset. There are camping sites along the way if you choose to spend more time.

Jeffrey, I've looked at that "island" a few times, and I'd really like to do that. I think it could be do-able; don't know whether it's forbidden. Hey, it is out west -- they're obviously a lot less burdened with regulations than we are here in NY, where they've regulated the fun out of everything.

Striking scenes, Bart! Really fine work. Like the others I love the last one. The sense of isolation on that 'lost world' is very cool indeed!

Very nice set of a cool place. The last one really strikes me - looks like there is a relatively easy climb up to that lovely green summit - bet that would be even lonelier!

Nice set. The first one for me as well - the clouds and the colors are fantastic. The last one has very interesting geology. Makes me want to explore more.

Thanks again. I do intend to do it again, camping along the way to take some more time on the route, and hope for a sunrise/sunset near that "island".

Great to see your work again, Bart. ALL are stelar shots but the first is a
wall hanger for me!

I wrote a post to this earlier but it looks like I didn't hit the post button. The only reason I caught this is because I came back to look at the third image because I like it so much. Great job, Bart. Sorry I screwed up.

Thanks , Al (&Jan), Doug, LG and Mike. It's always nice to find a nice, quiet, remote spot in Zion.
