Another ICM image. 200mm, f32, ISO 32, 1/4 s Taken in Western France. The light was terrific and the colour of the sea was terrific but this was taken in a quarry that was open to the sea so the rusting machinery and piles of crushef rock didn't look great. After I had the main image I went looking for a small sailing boat and merged the image in to give a focal point and get the viewers' imagination working. The very Scottish title along with the colours makes the viewer think of Northern Scotland. The water and sand colours in Scotland look Caribbean or at least they do if / when the sun shines. Ken

So creative Ken! I really like this one too. Here I was thinking that this technique was best used in a forest but now you have it working with a sea shot!

I'm not familiar with the term "ICM." Forgive my ignorance. Regardless, the result is awesome! I call images like this, "Impressionism."
