Kart Racing

Was going through the archives and I found some images that I took back in 2006 with my old D100 and a manual focus Nikkor 180mm lens at a professional Kart Racing event in Pinnacle Peak AZ. Did some reprocessing on these using PS 2023 and Topaz.

The speeds they can hit in some of those karts are pretty amazing. I have watched some of them at Portland International Raceway a couple of times and timed some laps that would put make HPDE drivers blush

Yes, I was really impressed by speeds and the skill these drives had. This is where some of the top drivers in various disciplines get their start.

Great work on these Sonny. If you hadn't said that these were captured in 2006, we would never know that you hadn't just captured them with one of the many newer cameras out now.
