Jones Knob Sunset

Fun set - that layered set of mountains as a foreground is a neat way to show off this sunset. I am not going to choose a favorite out of these - I am just going to enjoy them and let someone else try to do that.

I like them all, but I prefer the more subdued blues in the second over the first.
Thx Ben. The first image was an experiment in that I have a new camera (A7riii) and it has Pixel Stitch as a feature. Problem is that my usual processing programs—Lightroom, Capture One, and Photoshop, do not support this feature so far. Sony has a clunky program, but I decided to try Iridient Developer. I am trying to learn the program but so far colors are a bit different for me. Time will tell if I mesh with this program or not. I need to spend more time with some tutorials I expect. I was a bit conflicted about the blues in that image. Thx for the constructive feedback. It was quite blue—the Blue Ridge Mountains are named that for a reason—but that image came out a bit more intense than I am used to.

Hey Stephen, each photo seemed to get successively better. I agree with Ben that I like #2 better then #1 primarily because the blues are better I think in #2. #3 may be my favorite, I like the layers on the ground and the layered color in the sky.
