These remind me for some reason of some of the beaches in Florida with that dock.

My favorite is #3! Even though I don't do a lot of B&W conversions myself, there is a real visual draw for me to well done B&W's. You really nailed it in #3.

I like the long shutter speed with the movement of the clouds in all of these, whether color or B&W that adds a nice touch.

I grew up near there and visited often, though remember very little of it.

I love the color scene in the first image but the lower tide in the B&W version expose more interesting details at the water line on the pier.

I live in Brooklyn and the closest nature surrounding is the shores in Long Island. Is Long Island. Is the NYC suburbs. Is largely flat. You get some interesting shorelines there. Last shot from Thursday...around sunset. Too much heavy clouds and it was all gloomy late in the evening....
