Jim, How can there be enough pet photos being posted if there is no place we think they can be posted? I would think a pet and domestic animal forum would get plenty of posts. Most people have pets and or photograph them when they see them somewhere like yards, barns, parks, zoos etc... And then there are those who have pet photography businesses...Hey Debbie,
That's actually a good question, we have discussed it before especially when people are posting photos of their dogs and cats. We just haven't had enough Pet photos to create a new forum for them yet. Thanks for reminding us of it, keep an eye on it and if you think we are getting enough Pet Photos to warrant creating a Pet Forum, we will do it.
And this is a really cool parrot. Very colorful. What's his/her name?
Hey Debbie, we can certainly make one. Let me work on that later.Jim, How can there be enough pet photos being posted if there is no place we think they can be posted? The bird I posted here is Senegal parrot. Her name was Joker and she was a hand-raised bird from one of my pairs. I used to breed many species, worked with others in breeding programs and did a lot of rescue of which there were many horrifying stories of abuse.
Joker was a Senegal parrot, native to Africa (I think I posted about her in the original post before it was moved) She was one raised from a pair I had years ago when I bred exotic birds. Senegal parrots, when hand raised can be very sweet pets. They often love to lay on their backs in your hand and are much quieter than a lot of other species.Joker is a great name for a parrot! What kind is he/she?
