It's been thick clouds all day, never saw the sun at all. The night was supppsed to be the same. I never saw the moon. Then about an hour after sunset, they sky began to glow, and before long I could make out the round shape of the moon, but no real details to it as the clouds were still too thick.
But I set up the Seestar anyway, and had it GoTo the moon, which it actually was able to do. That's not easy considering the clouds.
So I took some photos, a little video. The clouds went from kind of thin to very thick. Never once totally clearing for the money shot I needed. But finally after an hour, the clouds parted ways for a bit and I got it!
My original goal was to go from Full moon to Full Moon. Which I accomplished. I have captured the moon every night except maybe 2 nights. But as I am thinking of my future timelapse, now I am thinking I need to keep it up 2 more weeks so that I can do a New Moon to New Moon one also.
