An offering of alien plant spores (that look suspiciously like a mature Cottonwood tree) has been sent to us from a (hopefully) benevolent planet in the Polaris system. The spores will spread over Earth and release into our atmosphere a very powerful substance which causes the entire global population to just chill and listen to music for an entire month. It could happen.
