Is this a fossil?

I know Doug is a geologist so he will be the best source if advice. A close up of one of the paving slabs on a 14thC bridge. It was about 10" across. Ken

A resounding Yes. I believe this is a nautilus. They have been around for over 500 million years so placing a date on this requires more geologic context.
