Indy Car Test

I spent the day at Sonoma Raceway yesterday creating images for track during the first Indy Car test of 2018. Here are a selection of images. The weather was great ,blue skies and 72 degree weather. Enjoy! All images were created using Sigma Lenses and a Canon 1Dx.

Not a follower of the series but it looks like they have a spec body for these machines - other than the paint job the body design is identical on all of these specimens.

Very cool set Mike! What a very fun experience that must be. Something about the B&W in #2 is so cool. The whole series is really nice.

Great shots. Too bad if the rules preclude innovation in car design for some variety, or is it that everyone feels they have found perfection so there isn't any point?
