Wow, things have changed, short track on pavement? I used to go to Ascot back in the 60's where Triumumphs ruled. Here I see singles.

Nice set by the way.

Very interesting - I suspect you need hearing protection for an event like that. It looks like a fairly slick surface for that type of racing. Is this track used for any other type of racing?

Wow, great shots but I can only imagine the spinouts on that surface. Bultaco, haven't heard of those in years, good to know they're still around.

great captures for that hard venue! the lighting on indoor sports ia hard enough now they are on even faster bikes! That racing looks crazy, I can't imagine how those bikes handle in a small are or on that surface.

I just noticed the special souls to their left boots! It reminds me of the old days, when you had to invent things on your own and not just buy them!

I’ve photographed on concrete perhaps a 1/2 dozen times and this a little tougher in that you are creating images by shooting through a chain link fence . Average iso was 3200 with no flash. They use carpet remnants and works fairly well. There’s a variety of bike sizes starting at 150ccs and going up to 450cc with some 2 strokes thrown in the mix.

How interesting Mike! A great series with #2, 4 and 6 being my favorites.

How these guys don’t get dizzy is crazy as they must constantly being turning? The straight section can’t be too long is it?
