Independence Fruitcake Festival

I recently upgraded my iPhone 6 to an iPhone 15 Pro Max. So, what better way to test out a good camera than attending a low-light, Back to the Future themed fruitcake festival in Independence, CA on a windy Saturday evening?

I’m happy with how the phone camera performed in this kind of environment, but I’m still getting used to the new tech.

Welcome back from the Dark Ages Michael! :)

I will admit my journey was almost as slow as yours. I had the iPhone 6s but when the iPhone 11 Pro came out, I finally upgraded then. And last year I upgraded it to the 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 Pro Max does all of my video work. It's great at photography, I will switch between Live and Raw depending on the situation.

That's a great choice you made. It does take a little getting used to. On the surface one might think all you do with it is Point and Shoot, and it can be that simple. But as a photographer you will have options, like when is Live mode best, and when do you want to use Raw.

Not sure what you are using to edit, I use Photoshop Express on my phone for most of my editing.

Great first run here with the new camera.
