Yes Ben. The words of this old Jacobite song express a very moody and "blue" air - being, reputedly, of a condemned Jacobin rebel. I always think of the word "gloaming" as meaning slightly more than twilight or dusk, having an element of that colourful "glow" that comes at dusk in the highlands, where the twilight lasts for ever in the winter; when the sun begins to set very early in the afternoonNow I have the song going through my mind. Very lovely blue light image.
Yes, I think your right, Andrey. I had a slight unease when I posted - which is often the sign of a missed horizon. The light reflecting on the ripples confused me a little, I think! Thanks for liking it regardless!Beautiful light Martin, and love the song, is the horizon crooked?
Hey, thanks, Zeph. If and when I print it, I'll fix it first!Oh yeah, fix the horizon and print this large on metallic paper.
Thanks Barry, glad you enjoyed it!Dig the colorful light and reflections.
