I like the colors in this portrait of Upheaval Dome Craig. The contrasts push the dome into the primary focus even though it is still in the shadows. This is a place I have only "visited" on maps.
I guess I need to hike out there on my next trip. Really nice image of what I always thought might not be photogenic, I see it is when the light is right.
Hey Craig, I have been out there and never was very impressed with the compositional choices. Like Ben, I didn't think it was very photogenic. But I like your shot here. It may be the best shot I have ever seen from there. The timing of it, and that rim of light of along the background really makes this shine.

You did a wonderful job on this, Craig. The only decent image I have of this is a aerial shot.

Beautiful, Craig. It's that circle of light on the colour that make it so. Hope that green thing doesn't get out of no 2!
