Iceland Sunset

Nicely seen - you picked a good vantage point and the low clouds in the middle add an interesting hook to the scene.

Did you take any shots panned over to the right a bit more? My eyes keep wanting me to scroll over that way just a bit.

Hey Kyle,

I love it! The reflections off of the wet sand are super cool. That behind the clouds color in the sky works well with the ribbons of color in the ground.

To Alan's point, I think I would either with a crop or with the warp tool to pull it out of the frame, that cloud area against the left edge where there is that small opening? I think I would try to lose that small bit of sky as that shape of the inner cloud angling off is a bit distracting I think. I think it would frame the shot nicely if you just had on the left edge that cloud angling up. I suggested the warp tool to nudge the sky over a bit as I don't think I would want to lose the shape of the ground though on the lower left.

Thanks Alan - I have a few other compositions so I'll take a look when I have access to all my files. It was kind of a struggle to line everything up - I didn't want to go too far to the right as it made the leading lines lead out of the frame.

Thanks Jim. I'll play with the warp - it's a good idea!

Nice imaging, Kyle. I always appreciate when someone can take me to a place I may never get to.
