My version of The Spider and the Fly nebulae as they are known in the Constellation Auriga. Auriga is rising just early enough for me to avoid the neighborhood visual obstacles. Hurray. As imaged in Eugene Oregon October 19, 2022. The next time I process this, I hope to find a way to control the extra bright nebulae. Overall I really like the textures. I think the triad ultra filter is doing a very nice job. It really facilitates an HOO or and SHO version of the stack.

Oh sweet Andy! That looks like a tough one to capture and process. I have actually only seen this captured by others a time or two.

Do you have a website where the Bill Blanshan Process Icons can be downloaded, or do you have the link? I searched on google and a bunch of stuff came up on him, but not a direct website.

Very nice job, lots to see here in this complex area of the sky. I like the processing, even the bright areas are not too distracting and make for some impressive dynamic range.

I am familiar with Bill Blanshan's excellent star reduction scripts for PixInsight, which I have started to use very successfully. But I am not familiar with the other processes you mention. I will have to go check out the link provided, thanks!
