Hustle & Bustle

Hey Darcy,

I am so glad you posted these here! As great as they looked on FB, they sure look even nicer here.

You have me wanting to head to the airport now with my camera! :)

The motion in all of these are great. Were you using a tripod? Because you got some great motion while keeping the shot itself sharp.

In #1, I like all of the stationary people and just the cars moving.

In #2, I think it's great all of the people moving and bustling but one... and he is staring right at you! What a great contrast.

In #3 again a lot of bustling movement but then the one limo driver is pretty sharp and holding that sign.

The choice of B&W is great, and works well with these city/street type scenes.

No tripod, handheld with my 40mm Nikkor! F18 (as was 1pm so bright out), @40mm, 1/6 second, ISO 500. I tried 100 but was too bright & was losing people's heads to blur LOL. Yes the guy staring at me, had security come over to see why I was taking pictures, it was making him nervous LOL. So I showed the security guard all the pics and he was cool. I told him I am not a shooter....oh guess I am a shooter LOL

Ha ha, I wonder why that guy felt so guilty? I wonder why he didn’t want to be captured in Las Vegas??? Detective Jim on duty now!

These are very nice displays of life in action at the airport! B&W a good choice indeed.
I love the tonal range in the 1st two especially. In the 3rd I'd be tempted to bring down the highlights a little bit.
