How to embed

Let me be the first to ask this basic question. Can you direct embed or do you need a host link like SmugMug. If host link, how to assure the size limits are met? been awhile since I host linked.

Looked for forum instructions on this matter but did not find any. Seems like others have figured it out though.

Hey Ben,

Most of the others to my knowledge have Premium memberships which includes the Image uploading from your computer, so that's probably why no one else has asked yet.

The easiest way to embed is if you look at all of the icons at the top of box you post in, or reply/comment in, a little over halfway you will see the icons for insert an image or video into the thread. You just click on the image one, and then you can paste the URL to the photo into the place it asks for the URL. Be sure to the ".jpg" (with no quotations) to the end of the URL if like at Pbase they don't have jpg on the URL.

That is a great question though, and I am sure others in the future will be asking it. Thanks!

Thanks for posting Ben, it is awesome to have you here!

For the Premium Membership, just click on your name in the upper right for your Profile. You will then see Account Upgrade, just click on it and follow the instructions. It's just $15 a year, and the support would be greatly appreciated! :)
