High Sierra Moonlight

My first thought was what an amazing result for a moonlit image and then I read your description. Gorgeous scene and wonderful reflections on the still water down in front. Nice way to end your summer.

Almost hate to ask but how were the mosquitos?

Thanks, Alan. The mosquitos were non-existent. It's too late in the summer for them; mosquito season here is roughly May to July.

Well worth 16 miles of hiking Michael! I like how you are getting it to reflect in the water as well.

Had you thought about shooting it with a longer shutter speed to smooth out the water falling?

Thanks, Jim.

I did think about it, but that’ll be for the next time I go up there. Well worth another trek.
