I got a chance to stop by at this beach for sunset last Friday, it wasn't a great sunset that evening-but this place is too good for any conditions!, tried different shots there and this is a long exposure I tried with 10 stop ND.

I recognize that marine layer out along the horizon. And the associated gray from the color snuff plot that so often accompanies it's presence. I have folded up my tripod on many an evening like this one along that coastline.

That said your 10 stop ND did give you a workable takeaway in this case. You got some nice motion in the overhead clouds and the soft waterline and long reflections work well for this scene.
