I have been printing for 10 years and am on my second printer and have at least 1000 prints. I have used glossy and semi gloss and luster, but several years ago I ditched glass and gloss and went to matte. I did this because I can't stand the reflections that show every dent and curl in the paper.
I realize that some images work better in luster and I recently had one that blocked up dark greens in my Canson photorag paper, so got a roll of Canson premium luster 310 wt. It fixed the block up problem. but even though it is T-hinged to the backing and was very carefully handled, it still shows curls and dents.
I wonder how you folks who print deal with this? Do you use a dry mount or vacuum system to mount your prints to the back board? Or do you just live with the wrinkles?
