Awesome work Murali. Kyle was just there a few months ago and we have been enjoying his photos from there. So it will be great to see your work compliment his and show us some different views and different conditions.

It looks like you were there in the winter? What month was this? The snow really sets off the red of the buildings so nicely.

Thanks Jim. We were in Lofoten and Tromso in Feb 2017. Fantastic scenery. Definitely worth visiting in shoulder months - cheaper, opportunity to experience the northern lights, less crowd, easier to get accommodations, and decent amount of daylight. I will post the trip report later today.

That will be awesome to see!

After Kyle returned from his trip, a bunch of us jokingly said we should do a FocalWorld meetup there in Lofoten and see a bit of Norway together. I am not sure if that would ever really happen, but it will be fun to get another taste of Norway from your trip report like we got from Kyle.

Nice composition and I like the blue hour light for this. I could tell it wasn't recent, since the rorbuer I stayed in clearly wasn't built at the time you took this.
