Hallucinations

Sometimes the heat of the desert can get so intense, that you start to hallucinate! Or.... you are just out shooting with an Infrared camera, in which case it can all look like a hallucination.

This is from Joshua Tree National Park by the Black Rock Campground. I was out hiking one of the trails there before sunset, and I thought I would work the setting sun into the image just for grins.

Nikon D7100 converted to 590nm IR

I like the lens flare in this image. Its works well with the title and the IR imaging.

I appreciate that Sonny. Usually I avoid lens flares, but in this one, I was hoping it would add to the image when I was framing the shot.
