Half Dome in Flames

This was a special morning that was mainly overcast at sunrise, but I stuck around for a bit which allowed the sun to break though an unseen hole in the clouds as it was rising to back light a small patch of clouds passing over the face of Half Dome.

Hi Jim,

Ah to have a couple feet of snow on the granite again...A nice focused image getting the light to point right to your subject. You've got a couple of dust spots in the upper left quadrant.

Thanks you guys. I was shooting wide of course and didn’t see it at first. I could see something and then I zoomed in and saw what looked like flames to me.
