Half Dome at Sunset from Olmstead Point

The smoke from the wildfire was thick and I feared that the sunset will be a bust. However, the setting sun created the Alpenglow for a few minutes on Half Dome for a few minutes. We were standing on the view point that is about half mile from the Olmstead Point parking lot in Yosemite. I hope you like it.

What a cool view. I like this a lot, it has a painterly feel to it with that glow on Half Dome.

This worked out really well. We don't have to smell the smoke in front of our monitors so it looks like some nicely backlit haze. The glow looks nice.
