Out at the east end near the Desert View Watchtower.

I have a seven year old image with almost the same Canyon view but it predates having GPS in my camera so I can't tell whether it's Lipan Point or the Desert View Watchtower. Could be either given what's left of my memory

Here's one I got from Lipan Point in Dec '14, from about the same spot. I jumped the pavement and walked maybe 50 yards to the south of the parking area and found this view, looking mostly straight down!
