Just got back from a Trip to Yellowstone, This is the First time I have been able to photograph a Bear, Was treated to this sight of a Grizzly Bear finishing off a Bison.

Great catch. Not often you get such an environmental image

Great timing to be there for this one. The bison carcass looks pretty well picked over at this point.

They opened up the road from Mamoth to Old Faithful and West entrance the last day we were there, The north road has been opened up since they repaired the Road last summer. But still has 2 traffic stops where it is still one lane near the river. It looks like they are monitoring the slope side of the road in those spots to see if it is holding or still moving. Not sure when they will have that part fixed, they may have to move the road if in fact it is still moving.
