Graffiti around Denver

This is pretty serious stuff. Must have taken a while to do this. More in the mural territory.

I actually don't call this Graffiti. Not sure the exact name, but coming from LA and Southern California I think graffiti is pretty ugly, and usually just involves painting some gangs name illegibly on a wall...

I really like this art, and that's what I would call it, maybe "Street Art"?

Thanks Jameel, I guess this really falls in the domain a mural rather graffiti. These murals were on a building that at the time was a marijuana store.

Thanks Jim I think you are right this is 'Street Art', the graffiti around Denver is not ugly, but contains a lot of cartoonish characters. I also have some of those somewhere in my archive.
