Those dark purple and blue irridissent colors are only possible with good light and careful exposure. Great jpb

That is so neat Joe! I guess if the light wasn't hitting them right they might look like a crow or a black bird? I sure do like the way those colors shimmer. The purples and those blues are really sweet.

Joe, a nice set. The grackles are quite vocal in the spring, I have seen flocks of the birds play with other & fight in air , very fun to watch.
