Hello everyone, glad to be on the forum! As a first post, Glencoe's "Three Sisters" are a majestic series of three peaks on the south side of the Glen. You can see two of the sisters in this photo.

With the Leica SL, Voigtlander 15mm v. III, Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thanks for viewing, best regards

Hi Vieri,

Welcome to FocalWorld! It's a privilege and an honor to have you here. Thank you so much for joining our little community here.

What a wonderful introductory image. A real masterpiece if I do say so.

We have several here with a real love for Scotland, and I can't wait for them to see this treasure.

Beautiful, Vieri. It's a superb area which always has "interesting" active skies. The viewpoint you have here shows the sweep of the glen to great advantage and you have brought out the fabulous textures and undulations in your processing of the shot. Look forward to seeing more! :)

Dramatic mountains and dark skies - one of my favorite combinations. I like the selective light patches here as they add a bold emphasis on the slopes. Delightful image.

Those are some threatening skies! The light clouds coming off of the central sister really make this work well.

Great mood! The dark clouds are really making a statement. Did you darken a lot in post, or were they fairly spot on to the picture?

Thank you very much Martin! Yes indeed, the variability in weather and the constantly changing skies are among the many things that fascinates me about Scotland - I am probably one of the very few that considers Scottish weather to be fantastic! :D

Great shot!
Thank you very much May, glad you liked it! :)

Thank you very much Alan, I also love mountains and dramatic skies a lot and I am glad you enjoyed my Sisters! :)

One of my favorite views along my favorite highway! Really nicely done!
Barry, I completely agree with you - the view of the Sisters is amazing, and the whole highway is wonderful, especially the strip in Glen Coe :)

Thank you very much Ryan, glad you enjoyed the mood! :) The sky was threatening, but there is definitely some post-processing involved to make it look like this ;)

Thanks again everyone, best regards
