The structure on the left is the mill proper. The building to the left is/was the coal fired power plant. Railroad tracks run along the mill to the power plant
We had a big Boise Cascade paper mill along the Columbia in downtown Vancouver that had long outlived its day in the sun. As of 13 years ago I used to walk by the silent factory buildings (looked a lot like those shown above) during my lunch hour wondering what would ever become of the place.
A new development is now in mid construction of a number of high rise apartment/Office buildings with a waterfront park and lots of shopping/restaurants.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
