I am not getting old, but the old wooden Grain elevators used throughout most of these high plain states from Wyoming through Montana, and up into Canada sure are. (There are some in other states too).
I did a quick 8 hour drive to get there from my daughters in Northern Colorado to Rapelje Montana. There are 3 of them still standing in a row along with a slightly but still old looking elevator to make 4 of them. My goal was to shoot the Geminid meteor shower over them, and hopefully catch some Northern Lights. The Aurora was only a slight possibility, I was mainly there for the meteor shower. Well, the Aurora roared all night long! It was awesome.
Those photos will have to wait, for now here is a photo of those Grain Elevators in the early morning sunrise light.
All comments are welcome,
Jim
