John, wow! Really great shots you got here! I like the both a whole lot. I think I would crop just a very small hair off the top of #2 to lose that white along the upper edge to the left of the sun. But other then that, really creative work with #2.

Is that second image a moonlight shot? I do agree with Jim about cropping off that slice of sky right up at the top.
