Fly to the Rainbow

I spent the weekend at the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge photographing bald eagles. I'll have a lot to share once I get through my images. I'll start off with something that I hope is a little unique. There was a gap in the clouds to the east just above the horizon, and when the sun broke through we saw a brilliant rainbow. Just after I commented that it would be cool if an eagle flew into the rainbow, one of them did just that.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Wow - very cool capture. Lucky you were ready to take advantage of a very unique situation.

My only objection to this image is that I didn't take it :p

Wow! And it's going to shock some people that an awesome, once in a lifetime image doesn't need AI to create a fake one, it can be had for real with patience and work.

Just incredible Kyle!

Kyle, this is so poetic ! I have driven by Klamath National forest but never stopped by, did you see a flock of bald eagles in the area?

We specifically went to Lower Klamath to photograph eagles. Probably saw over 100 of them while there. I have one photo of two trees with something like 14 eagles in it.
