Flat Creek Gold

Last year, I was too "nose to the barn" to stop and just a few minutes later I was kicking myself for not stopping. This year, I made it a point to stop & take some handheld shots. As long as there aren't moose there, this is another minimal tourist areas (like only 1 other vehicle in the pullouts). There was a cow moose further down, and the mob of photographers somehow didn't dissuade her from her breakfast. I didn't go back to my vehicle to get my camera as a moose eating leaves off a tree is not very interesting to me.

Super cool Monika! It's great when we pass up a spot and later kick ourselves, that then we do get a chance to go back to that spot and shoot.

Thanks, Jim. Yeah, usually going back, it just isn't as good.

Wonderful backlighting on the nice golds of the leaves in this area. My favorite is the first one with the bending path of the creek.
