I keep meaning to play with the Voigtlander 10/5.6. Incredibly wide and incredibly fun!
It's a daytime shot, about 2pm. And yes, at 10mm, I'm actually pretty close. The windswept snow was just a foot away. The shack about 20ft. The Voigtlanders do a great job of creating sunstars and in this case with the lens wide open at f/5.6.You got the star look at f5.6. Was this a night shot? And 10mm, that changes everything. It seems like it's shot from a distance with a long lens, but when you said 10mm, that means you shot closer?
Really an amazing work of art here.
The lens exaggerates everything. It does take some practice composing . . .That's an amazingly wide shot for the distances you cite. Nice drama with the icy conditions.
