So, How many of you use Polarized filters? Do they really make that much of a difference? This one was shot without it. All C&C welcomed

I have some but they are getting used less and less anymore. I keep finding myself trying to mitigate the effects that they so often leave in my images.

Hey Joe, what a very sweet shot! Love that golden color.

A polarizer to me is the single most useful tool. Especially shooting around water or vegetation you really can’t duplicate what a polarizer can do in Photoshop.

Now in a shot like this, I can see where you wouldn’t use a polarizer or you would turn it down because you don’t want to block the reflection of the color on the water.

So I use a polarizer just as much today as I used it 10 years ago.

Now if you had asked me about ND Grads, then I could tell you about a filter I don’t use as much.
