You captured a nice moment. Nice lighting and the b&w works very well.
Children are very difficult to photograph (at least for me) and I was very lucky to catch them at the right moment. A strange location for a portrait, they were sitting on a hospital bed with some soft window lighting that I enhanced with some dialed back bounce flash. Thank you... Mike

Wonderful work, I'm sure the parents are delighted with this, and the kids will love it too when they are older. Great work with the lighting. Extremely difficult to achieve many shots like this back in the days of film, but now with digital you can just shoot away and toss the bad ones. With flash, and babies I would think your opportunities would still be limited, so two thumbs up on this perfect shot.

With children I use the self described “shotgun method”. Take a lot of shots and hope one connects. Strangely, I still find the greatest number of keepers are either the first or last frames; perhaps unconsciously I give them a tad more thought. It’s a rare photo where I use direct flash, all are bounced by one method or another. Thanks... Mike
