Final resting place

This is Salen on the Scottish Island of Mull. The old fishing boats just sit here slowly rotting away. It is sobering to think that fishermen braved the North Atlantic in wintertime in these small boats. It is a toss up whether they are an eyesore or a great subject for photography, I go for the latter but I would say that wouldn't I. Looking at the village's website they do have a prominent photograph of them. Comments welcome Ken

They certainly work well as a photography subject. Especially as a B&W in this shot.

Hopefully these are long past a point where they can pollute the waters with their rotting fuel tanks.
