In the interest of full disclosure, I removed a handful of modern wind turbines from the distant bluff. Just thought that cleaned up the image a bit. :)

They've probably just sprung up somewhere else, Barry! :rolleyes: I like the empty feel of this. Really communicates the feeling of the Great Plains, strengthened by the disappearing fence posts.

Thanks very much, Martin! One of my thoughts as I take my various trips out west is the wide open spaces and the feeling one can see forever! And it's always quite appealing to me!

I never thought a row of fence posts was going to be an interesting subject. I stand corrected - this works.
Thanks so much, Alan! I hear ya. Something about that rather mundane scene made me want to capture it. As I said above, the wide open spaces are always attractive to my eyes.
