Looks rather large from this perspective. Its surprising how fast they can run for such an ungainly looking creature.

Good low point of view shot. We have been to a town in South Africa called St. Lucia where the hippos walk around the town at night eating the grass verges. Needless to say, you drive everwhere at night.
