I don't yank out the big ND filters often but this stretch of waterway along Sweet Creek seemed like a good candidate for this treatment. Almost all of the big leaf maples had dropped their leaves as of earlier this week.

This is really great! A great time to use an ND filter to smooth out the water a bit. Did the leaves hold still, or did you have to blend in a 2nd shot at a faster shutter speed to freeze the leaves?

This is a single shot. It's very rare that I blend images.

No - but that sure would have been a neat sight if I had. BTW - thanks for the heads up on this place. I had heard of a place with a bunch of falls just past Mapleton from some of the locals in Florence but never knew where this was until you posted a shot from there. I missed peak leaves by about a week. Definitely on my list for next fall.
