Yep, Hope Valley is a popular spot Doug. I like this scene you captured.

It's so odd, Fall colors for some reason seem so close, but it can't be right because I just got back from shooting wildflowers and I definitely need to get my wildflower shots processed before I can go shoot fall colors.... time is rushing by way too fast this summer.

View attachment 10669 Stevens Peak, on the eastern side of the Carson Pass in the Sierra, stands above Hope Valley. This is a place that most in northern California flock to in the fall when the aspens begin to turn. Hope Valley stands at 7,000 feet with peaks nearby.
Love all the color! I am so excited for fall!
