That's so cool that you are putting native prairie plants in your garden. I bet @Douglas Sherman would be interested in that!

Nice shots, Trent. I planted milkweed seeds this summer for the first time in my life. No experience whatsoever with them. Once they sprouted and became seedlings, I watered them every day and put the pot in a very sunny spot.

Soon I noticed leaves develop yellow and white spots. Then I noticed webs and spider mites. The leaves started falling off.

So I learned that milkweed needs partial morning sunlight and sparse watering. After moving the pot and watering less, and using mite repellent, the plant has regrown leaves and is much happier.
